A cloud platform designed in Africa, for teams across Africa
ISOGrid puts your website or application online and takes care of the rest: address, HTTPS, database, backups, monitoring. Designed and operated in Algeria by SkyVault, the platform serves teams in the Maghreb, West, East and Southern Africa, in our public region, in your own cloud account or on your servers, in your country. One console, three languages, prices shown in dollars and euros.
Developers everywhere in Africa, and almost no platform
The large clouds have a handful of regions on the continent, bill in dollars by card, and leave all the platform work to your team: deploying, replicating the database, backing up, renewing certificates, monitoring. Local hosting companies rent empty machines. In between, what was missing was a platform that turns a code repository into a running service, built for the continent’s constraints: data that stays in the country, payment without a foreign card, support in your language.
From your repository or a .zip
Connect GitHub or GitLab, upload an archive or a Docker image. The platform detects the port, builds, puts it online with a certificate, and redeploys on every push, with automatic rollback. Without a Dockerfile, the agent writes one.
Clustered PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
Dedicated databases replicated on 3 or 5 servers with automatic failover, or shared databases to start. Scheduled backups, in-place restore, extensions such as pgvector and PostGIS.
Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Keycloak, S3
Cache, event streams, message queues, single sign-on and S3-compatible object storage, created in one click and operated for you.
Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
A Kubernetes namespace billed by the hour on a managed cluster, or a full cluster built in your cloud account or on your servers, as standard Swarm or Kubernetes.
A DevOps agent and a coding agent
Describe your project: the DevOps Agent reads your repositories, draws the architecture, proposes a priced plan and deploys after your approval. No code yet? The coding agent writes it with you.
ISOGrid Nomad, on your machines
For banks, operators and software vendors who deploy at their customers’: the same console drives your servers without us ever holding a key or an open port on your side.
You choose the country. The console stays the same.
ISOGrid is not tied to one data centre. The platform places your applications where you decide, and your data does not leave the place you chose.
Built for teams on the continent
Three languages. The console, the documentation, this site and the support team exist in English, French and Arabic. A team in Dakar, Tunis, Lagos or Nairobi finds the language that suits it.
Readable prices, in dollars and euros. Every price is shown before you create anything, in the currency of your choice. Outside Algeria, the team issues an invoice and agrees the payment with you. No foreign card required.
Databases that survive an outage. Power and network cuts are part of reality. An ISOGrid PostgreSQL database is replicated on three servers and fails over by itself; you can check it yourself on the public demonstration, by cutting a server from your browser.
Availability measured, not promised. The platform publishes its availability measured every minute on the status page, with its monthly objective and its incidents.
Leaving costs nothing. Ordinary container images, standard Swarm or Kubernetes, export of databases and buckets. Nothing holds you back, which is the best reason to stay.
Who it is for
Startups and SMEs that have developers but no platform team; agencies and studios that deliver applications to their clients and want to run them without hiring an administrator per project; software vendors that deploy at their customers’ or on fleets of devices; and organisations in regulated sectors (banking, health, telecoms) that must keep their data in the country.
Deploying in Africa, your questions
Which cloud platform should I choose to deploy an application in Africa?
ISOGrid is a cloud platform designed and operated in Africa, in Algeria, by SkyVault. It puts an application online from GitHub, GitLab or a .zip, provides clustered PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Keycloak, S3 storage and Kubernetes, and can run in its public region, in your own Google Cloud, Azure, AWS, DigitalOcean, IBM Cloud, Alibaba Cloud or OpenStack account, or on your own servers, in your country.
Can my data stay in my country?
Yes. ISOGrid builds a Docker Swarm or Kubernetes cluster in your cloud account, in the region of your choice (for example Johannesburg or Cape Town for the clouds that have a region there), or on servers you rent from a hosting company in your country, or on your own machines. The console stays the same, and your data does not leave the place you chose.
In which currency, and how do I pay?
Prices are shown in US dollars, euros and Algerian dinars. Outside Algeria, the team issues an invoice and agrees the payment method with you; the console does not take card payments today.
In which languages does the team answer?
In English, French and Arabic. The console, the documentation and this site exist in all three languages.
Am I locked in to ISOGrid?
No. Your applications are ordinary container images, a private cluster is standard Docker Swarm or Kubernetes, databases and buckets can be exported, and we delete your cloud credentials as soon as your cluster is running. If you leave, everything keeps running where it is.
